Youths sports are more competitive and demanding on young athletes than ever before. Today, early specialization, weekend travel tournaments, and high level competition easily begins by the age of 8. With the onset of this competitive environment, the increase of injuries to young athletes is continually on the rise, especially with female athletes.

Founded in 2012, Train to Win's mission is to keep young athletes ages 6 to the collegiate level, healthy and as injury free as possible! Although, developing strength is critical for a young athlete's success, many parents hesitate to get their children involved. There are far too many misconceptions about strength training for adolescents. For example, most parents think strength training at a young age will lead to injury. The exact opposite is true. With correct instruction, not only will strength training make the adolescent faster and stronger but it will actually help to prevent injuries both on and off the field.
